Pellet is a solid biomass composed of wood shavings pressed in cylinders of around 6 mm of diameter. The pressing occurs without utilizing additives once the lignin itself, present in the internal of the wood, act as a natural glue. Therefore the pellet is an ecologic product which doesn’t provoke polluting emissions during combustion
No trees are cut down especially for the production of pellets, which would result in a too expensive product.
The beauty of pellet production is that it is produced of a waste product which exists already and will continue to exist. Because of this burning pellet has been justified environmentally and saves you on your heating costs. Burning gas or other liquid fuels is expensive and certainly not durable for the society
